Too Sad, Too Bad

Of course, the first week I start my blog my internet stops working. It took over a week to get the company out to my apartment to get it all fixed, but have no fear Amy’s here!! I am back and ready to dish! So much has been happening in Hollywood this past week, so many bad things!!

Of course, the most tragic is the death of twenty seven year old Amy Winehouse. On Saturday she was found dead in her bed for up to six hours before she was discovered by a security guard in London. Friends and family mourned her death at her funeral on Tuesday. Kelly Osbourne was among many celebrities there to show support. The death of Amy is still unknown. Police have reported that there were no signs of drugs amongst the house she was living in. When things like this happen I really hope that it makes people think about their own lives. That making bad decisions can have consequences. I know everyone fights their own demons, but life is short and we can all overcome our problems before it is too late. I am so sad for Amy, that she had to live such a short life, always play tug of war with her demons. She will never be able to experience the milestones in life, such as, getting married and having babies. Her death is so sad, but it is too late to do anything about it. I just hope that people can learn from this and if they deal with the same issues Amy did, that they are able to turn their life around, hopefully starting today!

Kat von D and Jesse James have called off their engagement. I am not a huge fan of either of them ESPECIALLY Jesse. It makes me so mad what he did to Sandra Bullock, one of my favorite actresses of all time!! They had been together for only 8 months so I am not too surprised. Poor Kat, though, will have to go through the painful process of getting the tattoo of Jesse’s name off her body. She recently walked off a radio show set because the crew was asking her about the tattoo.

More bad news in Hollywood, Taylor Armstrong is now claiming that hubby Russell got abusive with her before she filed for divorce. We all knew there was trouble, but I never thought it was this bad. I really feel bad for Taylor. She is claiming that Russell shoved her, threw objects at her, grabbed her, and even pulled her hair. Besides the physical abusive he mentally abused her as well. Calling her mean names and trying to use words to put her down. I don’t have respect for ANY man who could put their hands on a woman. It makes me sick. Taylor did the right thing, though getting out of that marriage. I know of many women who would not be as courageous as she is, and stay in a marriage that they dislike. I think it will be interesting to watch their marriage unravel on the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills which starts September 5th.
